Gov’t Mule closed out their Island Exodus 2020 destination event at Jewel Paradise Cove in Runaway Bay, Jamaica on Wednesday night with a little help from their friends. The band’s final concert of the event was moved indoors after storms rolled through the area all day, yet the show went on as Hot Tuna and Ron Holloway were among Mule’s guests.
Gov’t Mule delivered a guest-heavy second performance of Island Exodus 2020 on Monday at Jewel Paradise Cove Resort in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. The band started with their second themed set in as many nights and welcomed a bevy of guests including members of My Morning Jacket, Hot Tuna and North Mississippi Allstars.
LOCKN’ 2020 moves to a three-day format following previous four-day installments. This year’s festival will celebrate Phil Lesh’s 80th birthday with headlining sets each night featuring the Grateful Dead bassist.
